Intro!

Welcome to the online portal of Christian Expeditionary Force Fellowship. A Christian gaming "clan/guild" centered in World of Warcraft (Nordrassil realm) with lesser chapters in Guild Wars (retired) and Battlefield 2.

CEF is a very unique idea with very unique "members".  We're a fellowship of Christians.  Think "Church family fun night" 24/7.  People come here to meet new people and develop lasting friendships with others who call upon the name of Jesus Christ.  If you're looking to get lost in a crowd that's not going to happen here.  We are brothers and sisters.  Family members. Brought together by the blood of Jesus Christ and through this shared hobby of gaming.

Although we strive our best to excel in the games we play and attempt to regularly have special events our true focus is on each other as real people in a real world. God first. Family. Friends. Gaming after.

World of Warcraft

Our latest and greatest endevour in gaming.  You'll find most of our active members playing either in our alliance guild <Apostles Creed> or the Horde counterpart <All Who Are Weary> on the United States Nordrassil Realm in the US Emberstorm Battlegroup.

Our primary emphasis in-game is leveling, questing, and regularly running instances.  Average member level is about 35 however we have a handful of players above and below along with numerous alts.  Our unofficial goal is to be running heroics in less than 2 months and Kara in less than 6.  Matthew (Anatelnova) is already venturing out into heroics with Adam (Mooseunk) following shortly behind).

Guild Wars

This is where we started. Nearly 3 years of unprecedent Christian Fellowship.  This is what brought us together originally.  Although many life long friendships resulted we felt it was time to retire Christian Expeditionary Force in Guild Wars.

Battlefield 2

A side hobby of ours.  We do not actively participate in Battlefield 2 but many of us have it as a side game.  Chances are you won't want to just join for our Battlefield 2 chapter, but its here and if you want to play with us you're more than welcome to join us.

Grace and Mercy

I know at times people do not agree with the decisions I ultimately make or approve. I do not attest to be a perfect leader or a perfect Christian. Nor do any of the people who also lead the clan.  I just ask that before passing judgments on the leadership you as a member or even a fellow officer consider the enormous responsibility upon my shoulders.  Many times there are situations and concerns which require solutions that are really not pleasant regardless of how we approach them.

I simply ask that you show us mercy and grace in regards to our leadership. We are volunteers who are imperfect people. We strive to serve God and our fellow brother's and sisters to the best of our ability. We try very hard to do what is ultimately in the best interest of the clan. We draw from our own experiences and knowledge. Which may from situation to situation be better or worse than your own.

In the end realize that we love all Believers. Whether they are in our clan or not. Even those that leave us or are dismissed from our fellowship are not abandoned in our hearts. Absence from the clan does not translate into absence from our prayers and love.  Just because someone is no longer with us in the clan it does not mean we believe they are a poor Christian or a poor sibling in Christ. Exclusion from our guild does not mean exclusion from Heaven. Nobody can take that from them.

Thank you.

...Patience...

A man's wisdom gives him patience;
it is to his glory to overlook an offense
                                                  - Proverbs 19:11 (NIV)

Over the last few days the Lord has been working patience into me. I seem to have set myself up for a crash course when I respeced my Paladin in World of Warcraft to "Holy" (I went from a damage dealer to a healer).  The first thing I did was jump into a group for a dungeon and since then I've spent most of the last few days healing various pick up groups through various pseudo end-game dungeons in World of Warcraft.

As anyone who has played an online RPG knows healing a pickup group can be insane.  People do crazy and sometimes, admittedly, stupid things that result in everyone dying; repeatedly.  Being the healer it is my duty to make sure other's mistakes don't mess us all over.
